I'm using this to connect a 2020 MacBook Pro M1 with macOS Big Sur to a 24" LG 4K monitor with 2 HDMI inputs and 1 DisplayPort input (it's connected to one of the HDMI connectors connected). It is capable of driving a full resolution (3840 x 2160) monitor at 60Hz. In the first hours of operation there were no problems. I used to connect a monitor with a USB-C triple TOTU display dock and the display would go off intermittently, which got annoying very quickly.

This little gem worked great the very first time I tried it to stream my Samsung S10+ in 2160p just plugging into my HDMI cable and into my phone. No problem. I first bought the Aukey version of this product, and while it was a bit more compact and seemed "ruggery", I found it difficult to unplug the HDMI cable (MUCH too tight to endanger my cable). plug) and the USB-C connection was too weak (if you moved it, you lost the connection).

I have two 4k monitors for WFH with 1xDP and 2xHDMI connectors. My gaming PC is connected to the display ports on the monitors and all the HDMI adapters I provided on my MacBook only support 4k at 30Hz. I got two of these USB-C to HDMI adapters from Anker, they connected to my MacBook Pro 2019 and now I have two 4k @ 60Hz.
