This was my first purchase of such a product. I had to use them multiple times to understand exactly how to apply and protect while I sleep. I have half short hair so I tripped up a lot. One piece of advice I could give is to not straighten the mousse in the pack as it will take longer for your hair to dry. I especially like these satin hair rollers because they don't damage my hair and it's nice to sleep on. Yes, they're cheap and I have to buy them back about once a year, but they're only $6 so it's not a big deal. They are stiff when you first get them, but they will soften over time. Since they are satin, they will fall off. The best way to use them is to twist your hair and then put on a hair cap to keep it from falling off. This is one of the worst products I have ever bought. Ridiculous. If satin means the same texture as cheap wrapping paper, then yes, it is. I tried twisting my hair into one (a pillow the size of a cube) and as soon as I turned my head it fell out. Aside from possibly sticking some bulging eyes on them and using them to decorate a Halloween bat, they're useless. My 3 year old could make a better product using tissue paper and glue.

They're really big so make sure they're the right size for you! This is my second purchase (only 3 packs of medium and large sizes). The downside is that many seams are not taped, the wires are bare. It snags on the lock or eventually slips out of the reel so I'm ordering a new one. Your comfort is amazing. The quality of their processing leaves a lot to be desired.

I bought this item because it was Easter weekend and I needed a great value quick version of Prime. I have medium length AA natural hair. I have to say they worked pretty well for what I needed. I made 2 twists of yarn and twisted them with this product, no twist. I took my time and used a small amount of the stylish product because the material didn't seem to be of better quality. BUT the curls turned out very nice. Might not be a long term solution but good if you are tight on price and time…

Not the best choice, the sizes are the same as advertised and I bought them to replace some old ones that I can't find. Wires aren't really a problem as long as they close properly and hold your hair, but they don't. First you need to twist the hair tightly and then close it as it will inevitably fall a little
