This brush is exactly the same as the one we've loved for years except the metal bristles are sharp as if they were cut length, length and did nothing. to soften a blunt cut. It still works better than other brushes for us since some of us have fine hair and lots of it. Other brushes grab the hair under the plastic edges that hold those bristles in place, or between the bristles and something else that's a tiny short piece that only seems to serve to snag the hair. Okay, I don't use this brush on a wig. I use this brush for my coarse, curly mane, no other brush gets over it. This brush gets the job done without pulling hair, causing damage, or making me scold trying to untangle tangles. . Can't say anything about durability yet as I just got it, but if it breaks tomorrow. I'll be right back to buy 20 more.

Although this brush was designed for wigs, it was a godsend for detangling my 4C African American hair in its natural state. In fact I bought TWO of these back to back just in case this one didn't last as long with my coarse hair lol.

Unlike others who wrote that this brush has sharp bristles I have not found that to be the case. I bought 2 of these as this brush is perfect for your purse if it's a big bag. I like that the rubber stays in place! I am very happy that I bought both. :)

I use this brush every time I embroider fabric. It detangles the strands easily. Not sure I'll be using it on my natural hair as I have tight curls but it definitely does what it says on the tin for weaving/wigs.

I wish I had discovered this brush when I first started using the hair accessory. I feel like it helps them act longer, oh I'm not sure if it's because of the wire bristles. So I used two other things besides the wide-tooth comb. But I really love this brush. I want to order a second one for my bag so I don't have to keep grabbing it and putting it in my bag because I sometimes forget to take it with me. And a couple of times I think it's annoying or when I had to go to great lengths to go back

I use this brush on all my dolls. I regularly re-dye dolls and cut their hair to order. This brush detangles hair without damaging hair or wig caps. I've read that people get annoyed that the pins are perfectly straight and end up with nothing. Not me. I've found Driftwood straightens out with a lot less shedding since the pins don't have rounded ends to catch knots. The soft ends are for humans, not dolls. And there should be no human oil on puppet brushes. I've also used it on rooted doll…
