This affordable DVR has a great price and is packed with features. I recently replaced a couple of broken ELEC DVRs without buying anything. I just unplugged the old one, pulled out the old drive, installed it on the new dash cam, formatted it and everything was back to normal. Easy setup on my phone and even my wife who is not tech savvy can use it. Great product, wish I bought it the first time!

Very professional installation. The software is based on Linux which offers so many features and options. The repeat function simply throws the Zozi out of the water! It's really efficient and easy to go back and find a specific event. Much better than Zosi where the code is so cheap it's almost impossible to watch the footage. I bought this DVR to replace my Zosi DVR as Zosi's inefficiency annoyed me a lot.

Yes, it records and offers to play, but 90% of the time it doesn't communicate with the mobile app. To fix this problem, you must then restart your computer manually. Very uncomfortable. I ordered one and sent it back for an exchange, thinking it was just a defective unit. But when I replaced it, the same problem occurred. I actually just came back for a refund but then I was charged a $18 restocking fee. Beware.

My videos are clearer than before. Installing a new hard drive was very easy. Annke tech support was always helpful, I emailed them asking how to add IP cameras. Answered 24 hours with step-by-step instructions with screenshots and a link where I can find recommended IP cameras on Revain.

Installation was pretty easy if you're tech savvy. The instructions won't be clear if you are clueless about computers or security systems. The hard disk can be installed directly, there are screws in the box. I learned this the hard way after buying a mounting kit for next to nothing and finally sending it back.
