When two of my computer customers complained that their Bose Wave radios had very poor FM reception, I, as an electronics engineer and computer consultant, took a closer look at them. I noticed they had VHF antenna jacks so I bought them and when I plugged them in both women were delighted with the crystal clear reception they are now getting even on some more distant stations. I bought a Bose Wave radio about 8 years ago and actually got the antenna along with the radio; it had much thinner silver wires. I lost this antenna. I live in Northwest New Jersey and LOVE the WQXR; classic station from New York and can't tune in even though the radio is on the second floor of my house on the hill. This antenna picks up QXR quite clearly. Not crystal clear but clean enough to enjoy! The antenna is about the same length as the original but as can be seen in the photo it is 1/2

This is a rugged, portable thumbtack antenna of the type supplied with home stereo systems in the 80's and 90's. When opened, it has the shape of the letter "T".
