To ensure my new weather station is giving me accurate readings, I want to mount it on a sturdy stand that won't sway with the strong gusts of wind that often occur in my area. . The 30" bracket is 1.6" in diameter making it very strong and the black powder coated tubular steel looks good without irritating the eyes when mounted on my deck fence. I am definitely happy with this purchase.

Worked well to hold the Ambient WS-2902B smart weather station on the roof. The stand diameter is perfect for the Ambient mounting bracket. It's in a field in a two-story house, so it's (by nature) very open. It's weathered a couple of 45+ mph hurricanes with no issues. The kit includes all the parts needed for roof mounting, including sealing strips to prevent leaks. I am very satisfied for the price.

Overall, at less than $20, the value of this roof mount is pretty good. However, the written instructions indicate the supplied screws are the wrong size, and they are longer than most roof installations require. Using written instructions will result in you making more trips on the roof than necessary. Make sure you have the correct size roof studs and fastener set screws. They are not 8mm. The only question now is how long will they last.

Purchased to install a yagi antenna for a cellphone signal booster. We are very rural people and have a lot of wind, sometimes strong gusts, so we wanted something strong enough to withstand those winds. It was very easy to install and set up. It's a good product but still I didn't really need it. It turned out that the outdoor AIR ANTENNA I bought from Revain gave such excellent HD TV reception that I no longer needed satellite or cable TV. I removed the satellite dish and replaced the dish with a new antenna dish.
