I ordered these to prepare for an operation. I was concerned they would be as uncomfortable as hospital socks. To my great surprise, they are very comfortable. I wore them instead of slippers. I am a pediatric occupational therapist and spend a lot of time with my patients walking or crawling on the floor. I have to be on my feet often enough so that children with musculoskeletal disorders don't fall during therapy, but I can't wear shoes on the mats in my clinic. I bought these because I don't like walking barefoot on tile/wooden floors and I need a grip that regular socks don't have. These socks are AWESOME! They are very comfortable, offer excellent slip protection and are well made. I've washed/dried mine at least a dozen times and they look as good as the day I received them. I liked them so much that I bought a second set in shades of grey. If you're looking for warm socks, these probably won't fit. They're thin and don't really give off much heat.

Update: Adding (2) stars to my rating after I found a solution to my problem. I put the silicone heel guard gel (included) in the socks and it works, my socks stop slipping because the silicone helps keep them in place. Now I am happy. These socks suck, when i got them yesterday i was so excited to wear them because of the anti slip properties in the description and i am trying to put them on my foot.
