Well my hands are bad so this is my first can opener. I often find this useless because it doesn't really work unless the jar lids have the exact same four opener sizes. It also requires too much arm strength to push and twist. I do not recommend this type of bottle opener to anyone and will buy a completely different type.

This bottle opener is very handy! I don't have much strength in my arms and hands so I have to wait for someone to open it for me when I come across a very tight jar. Here is such a simple, but very effective kitchen gadget. It grips caps of different sizes, from large to small beverage bottle caps. I still encounter very tight lids, but all I have to do is tap the lid with a spoon and then use a can opener. It has never let me down! A+++

I'm a little disappointed with this purchase. This gadget is only designed for glasses of a certain size. Pickles, spaghettini, and other jars are just too big, making this thing pretty much useless. When I try to use it for the smaller tops there is nothing to catch at the end and the flatter end is too wide to grab. It does absolutely nothing. I would not recommend this to anyone with arthritis, carpal tunnel, or any hand grip issues. This is NOT the gadget that will help.

I was a little disappointed with the unexpectedly soft or flexible rubbery plastic. It didn't work for me - UNTIL I saw the handle being formed. It has a peculiar inner lip. I used it upside down, it slipped over the lid with no quick grip. When applied correctly on the lid, it will hold without slipping. Except it's not as good as the metal type I had that doesn't require hand strength, but this one does. I bought two, one for my daughter. She is very happy with hers as arthritis also weakens…
