Did the job for the price but a few pieces fell apart when we were carving our pumpkins. I will probably invest in a better set next year. Maybe a wood carving kit that will make carving a pumpkin easier.

They are very poorly made, I found the cheap plastic kits to be more durable than this kit. Before we even swallowed a pumpkin, the knives began to fall apart. Looks nice but not functional. In addition, they dry well, since they rust very quickly.

At just a few dollars more than cheap plastic carving sets, this durable wood and metal carving set is a great deal. I think this set will last for years. No more emergency trips to every store in town because they're all sold out of cheap plastic kits. I really like this kit.

Look no further! This set has everything you need. I specifically wanted a durable set, and this set goes beyond durability. We actually ordered 3 sets because each had different tools so I wanted my son to have everything he needs because he loves Halloween. But this kit was the best and basically the only one used. The others were good too, but we didn't really need them because this set is booming!

After years of using cheap plastic dollar carving sets and bending the carving blade slightly as if it were foil, this set is very impressive. It comes in a nice case that closes with a zipper. You won't lose your tools. There is a good set of tools. They seem nice and educational, and some are pretty fancy (as they should be). On the blades and bucket, the metal runs the full length of the handle, which is nice. I'm looking forward to carving pumpkins this year!

I'm so glad I bought this pumpkin carving kit! Although more expensive than the cheap kits you can buy at the grocery store that break halfway through carving, these tools will last you for years. They were easy to hold and cut through our pumpkins to create the design we wanted, much easier than in the past (compared to using cheap carving kits).
