My poor eyes: Welding helmets

I flashed twice with this helmet. After a hospital stay and antibiotics I invested in a better helmet. The cheap cost of this helmet is not worth it compared to my vision.

I gave it 5 stars but after a few uses my eyes started to bulge, at first I was happy with the helmet , but after I got it a full torch, when I put it down, I throw it in the trash can. Saving money and losing sight of it is not worth it

Aggravating. I like my retina too much to use it.

This helmet looks and feels good. Unfortunately, it started flashing when I first used it. I turned on the delay but no change. I figured maybe the overhead light flickering had triggered them somehow, but after trying incandescent, fluorescent, and LED bulbs, I couldn't see any improvement. I thought I could hide the sensors but I couldn't remember them. I bought this item a few months ago and haven't even had the chance to take it out of the box so thought maybe the batteries were dead, but a

Great helmet for the price!

I bought this helmet after looking at several. I even considered Harbor Freight and it was actually cheaper than HF and has better graphic design. The plastic is light but not bad. Out of the box it works as intended. The instructions can seem a bit confusing at first, and if you trust something like this to hurt your eyes, it can be scary.
