The backing pad lasts 5 minutes before the disc no longer sticks to the sander

Useless. The cloth side of the wheel will fail after 5 minutes of use and the wheel will no longer adhere to the sander. I can use other discs from another manufacturer without any problems, so the problem is not with the hook of the grinder.

Great Deal on Finishing Tool Parts & Accessories Power

Too much for tons of sandpaper. One review says it's not a double baton, which is correct. According to the description, the velcro loop is lined with a velcro hook. and it works great. Read the description of what you are buying

Good enough quality for any project. No problem

are NOT junk like some of these things. It's about as good as grinding wheels should be. Grinding with an angle grinder can be tricky and pretty tough anyway, so even "ultra-super-duper, mega-quality" grinding wheels will grind in the process if not done carefully. You are on the same level as the port shop if you get my meaning.
