The center hole on these bits is not very deep and seems to vary in depth from bit to bit. I've used them 3 times and came across one project where these bits didn't work because the center guard pin of the fasteners didn't allow the tool to fit snugly on the tool. Otherwise they seem to be good. They are surprisingly hardened steel for cheap tools, making it impossible to drill larger center holes with a standard drill bit. A kind of "for" and "against".
