Fantastic value +1 to Aoshida Hifi

Great amp, no problems with it. Excellent sound quality, very bright screen. No hiss or hiss, highly resistant to ground loops. Has a large power output. Also works well with subwoofers as it has a subwoofer output. There are no complaints at all, the volume control does not scratch, unlike many other budget amps it is very smooth. Solid metal body, honestly it looks more like many Parasound or high end amps. .I think they go pretty well with Tekton Pendragons and also with Kef and Wharfedale…

Compact, distortion-free, dynamic, all in one solution

In general, I'm very satisfied with the device and I got through the return period without any remorse on the part of the buyer. Similar low distortion and performance to much more expensive amps. We look forward to new implementations of the Infineon module. Coming from a 185w amp per channel it doesn't feel underpowered with my Kef q350 at full range and really sings when I plug in my 2 studio subwoofers at 120Hz and unleash over 50w, a truly holographic one Picture. Likes: No distortion at…

Exceptional: home cinema

An absolutely fantastic amplifier that can easily power even relatively inefficient speakers. Don't be put off by its Class D or "Made in China" pedigree - this unit is subjectively better than the vast majority of "cheap audiophile" units in the sub-$1500 range. Its sonic presentation is what I would describe as clean, crisp and extremely resolving, with tactile body and punch. While adjustments can be made with the onboard EQ settings, I find "straight" (completely flat) and "SDB" (basically…

Works well.: Home audio

There aren't many desktop options with a subwoofer output. I used to use a SONOS amp but I needed it in another room so I looked for a replacement without spending any money. I know it's not fair to compare it to a Sonos amp given the huge price difference. The sound quality is pretty good. It has a nice well-rounded full sound, but it sounds muddy in the bass. It has EQ features, but they're not great. All control is via the main volume knob. Pressing takes you to a menu that you can't back…

Compact, distortion-free, dynamic all-in-one solution

Overall very satisfied with the device and the customer has already exceeded the return period with no regrets. Similar low distortion and performance to much more expensive amps. We look forward to new implementations of the Infineon module. Excellent integrated amplifier

I do not yet know how this device measures in scientific analysis. However, my actual experiences of intended use have proven that this amp has what it takes and more. The SMSL engineers probably still pat themselves on the back, and that's the way it should be. They apparently improved on their similar DA-9 design when it came out a few months after the previous one. This AO200 does not appear to have the reported DA-9 issues. The build quality is top-notch, although the remote control, while…
