I have put these on my car's front and rear number plates and they work very well. They come with a wrench and a bit for inserting a drill or screwdriver. This is a special star pattern, so a regular screwdriver won't work. If someone tries to steal your number plate, they'll back off and move on to the next number. Does what you need and has all the parts you need.

These are pretty good screws for attaching your panels and frames to your car. Definitely a deterrent and a good surefire way to deter theft. The nut that comes from the back cannot be hand tightened and requires you to hold a wrench on it while you tighten the bolt from the front. This can be quite difficult depending on your application and the accessibility of the back of your bumper. But I think it increases security.

The third photo shows a 5 flange torx nut which is unique and harder to find but they are regular torx hex head screws so I don't know why they are selling me security screws. The instructions cover a few sets but nothing specific. Yes, these are screws, nothing complicated, but if you don't know where to put the washers in relation to the screws, it won't help you at all. Go to an auto parts store and save yourself the frustration.

With these screws I could easily change the screws that came with my license plate. However, the black caps they were supposed to cover didn't fit. It was easy to see they were too big on the first try, I tried turning them and while they were sitting on the screws it was easy to see they wouldn't stay there long.
