Excellent strong lock, easy to install, easy to program.

An excellent replacement for my MZ. Easy to install and program. I wish it had the option to lock the handle instead of a latch but I'm very happy with it and it's been installed for a few months now. It's nice not having to take out the key every time I enter the motorhome. Batteries are easily replaceable from inside. I fitted a sunroof panel as the standard panel had a slightly different angle on the edge. Now it was a little trickier, and it wasn't AP Products' fault, it was the RV…

Touchpads don't work

Not impressed. Expensive lock to replace the 3rd 507th which failed. The lock itself works perfectly with the key. The touchpads only work occasionally. Called AP and they said my Duracell batteries were to blame. So I replaced them with the recommended Everready Lithium batteries. Worked about 80% for about 1/2 hour then the 2 bottom buttons stopped working again. I guess I'll give them a call again and see what they come up with. Nice strong lock.

To fit an old '94 Thor 30' MH as a replacement for a totally worn out original set 1 - Remove the old lock set and measure the hole. This block has very little tolerance. The old hole was square, the new lock is rounded, so extra caulking was needed at the corners. 2 - The locking plate of this device needs to be replaced. I literally had to cut the old one out of the frame and weld the new seat on before installing the new striker plate.3 - Make sure you have enough space for the striker pins…

Gotta do the job. Bad customer service.

I hate returns so I'll try to do my research first. I wanted to know if this is the right lock for my motorhome. Revain's questions were not answered, so I contacted the manufacturer via an email feedback form. No Answer. Ordered a lock knowing Revane would take it back; not my preferred method. After removing the RV lock, I found that the hole cut didn't match the size of the lock, so I included the manufacturer's number in the materials. I had to leave a message.
