There's still a lot left!

Bought this to repair an outdoor lounge chair. The cost of buying the right amount of lower quality cable has almost doubled. I bought this slightly thicker cable as my theory was that it would last longer and the fact that I have the extra means I can do it over and over again. It has outlasted the original cable and shows no signs of failing even in the Texas heat!

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Approximately

Good material for bungee cords

I bought this to replace the bungee cord that holds the windows and top to my hunting turret. It was about 1/16 inch larger than the original bungee but I drilled a few holes and it fit fine. Very strong material, stretches well. I have also made mounts for my ATV and UTV. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a strong line that stretches and compresses really well.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Wrong size, still works great.

I took it to pull one of those weightless chairs. It was twice as thick as I should have gotten (the cable had to go through each jack twice) but I got it to work and it holds up better than the original cable. I've also used it with cord locks and ripstop nylon to make camping panniers and I've used it in the waistband of a fleece jacket. good material.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Not as fat as the others

Worth a look if you want custom ties at a reasonable price.

This is my first time ordering a shock cord and I am very happy with it. Compared with the Shock Cord which comes with ready-made Velcro elastic cords, it is the same in elasticity. It is easy to work with, especially holding the knot while tying to hold the hook. For long term regular use I would secure it with hog rings but the surface has enough grip that you might not need.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Seniors

Quality product, highly recommended!

I ordered a spool of this cable on Sunday and it was delivered the next Tuesday, amazing! The cord has a strong feel and is covered in a tight weave superior to anything I've bought from Harb**Fr****t Instruments or local discount stores (whose bungee quality has deteriorated significantly over the years has). I use lots of zip ties to secure the tarp over my RV and I don't get year-long maintenance from the discount cords I use. I am very happy with the quality of this cord.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Excellent value for money

Although it hasn't passed the durability test yet, I easily tied the bottom halves of two weightless chairs together with about 24 feet of bungee cord. Here's the thing: This cord is thick enough that it doesn't need to and can't be folded in half. I assume it will take another 16 feet to finish the top halves of both chairs. So about 40 feet to fully stretch out two chairs. For $27 per 100 feet you can strap on 4 chairs! It's really cheaper than buying new chairs. Will update after I stress…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Working speed

Great for creating a zoo with stuffed animals!

Bought this model to build some stuffed zoos for my kids and our friends. This cable appears to be very well made and was a good price for the length. 1/4" seems the perfect size to keep her stuffed toys in, yet light enough to slip between the "bars" to keep the outer layer from unraveling. I had no problems after that with both ends of the line Let's see how well it holds up over time I've mounted it taut between the eye hooks and with some cheaper lines the inner elastic cord keeps…

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Yes, it's thicker than your original chair cord, but that's a good thing. Because if your chair is from Lafuma, the cable they use breaks too early and in many places. But it still goes through the hinges, and you don't have to make a double backrest like you do with the flimsy material that Lafuma sells in a $19.99 cable repair kit for a single chair repair. This role fixes 10-15 chairs. One strand is enough, just tie a knot at the ends. I have never had a broken cable after fixing it with a…
