There is a lot of misinformation about this part regarding the 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 4.0 on various parts supplier websites. This item fits my truck perfectly. I removed the rear wheel for better access but it's not critical as I'm 61 and didn't want to be on the ground lol. The only problem I had was the old fuel line broke and I had to remove the old piece of strainer from the original hose.

Yes, it fits my engine easily. do not go. On an old rusty, leaking filler neck, I showed a small evaporator leak code. With this new neck I have a big leak code. The new standard fuel cap didn't fix the situation. The product description listed a rollaway bed, not a trundle bed, so I was concerned that this product would not fit my 2000 Ranger with rollaway.
