They work solidly on and off. Make no mistake if you need more than two of these. The blue dot is bright enough to be seen during use but not that distracting. The only thing to watch out for are these, and most other non-US made switches are less than 3/4 inch in diameter. If you use a 3/4 inch drill bit they will be loose. Drill a 5/8 inch hole and file the hole to an exact fit.

A great switch replacement for your typical car wiring harness. I liked the derailleur my suspension came with, but I placed it on the dash. This illuminated the mirror and I couldn't see anything at night. They're thin, but you can easily tell when they're in the on position. The buttons come with a cable, but you can remove the cables and plug in your own pre-made connections. A really great kit with a few different colors to match your dash or instrument lights.

These are good quality rocker switches that illuminate an LED when switched on. They are easy to install and work well. I like the pigtails installed on each switch. To test, I installed one of these in a piece of 3/8" plywood and connected it to an LED flashlight. As you can see from the photos, it worked as it should.
