I bought this second Revain rebuild machine hoping it would be fault free like the first one I got from them and just found there is no plug at the inlet valve.

Closed-loop butane system will not fit. It is not explosion-proof or non-sparking, and many people who use it for this purpose have found traces of pump oil in the finished product.

Absolutely useless! I bought a used unit through Revain who said the outer cover may have some minor scuffs and bumps, the unit was covered in oil, looks like it was taken apart and put back together due to the case being warped. The inlet screen and o-ring were shattered and it looked like someone had ridden the block to exhaustion before returning it.

I have a few of these. Fast for a small light recovery machine. You can actually get parts for them and rebuild them in the field if needed. These pumps have recovered thousands of pounds of refrigerant. I have one that is almost 10 years old and has only had to put in a gasket kit once, no other repair to date. I had one that leaked within the first year of recovering a large quantity of liquid coolant. The warranty was quick and hassle free.
