Doesn't support fast charging

This lightning cable DOES NOT provide fast charging for newer iPhones. I've tried this with the iPhone XS Max and iPhone X, as well as several USB-C chargers, including the official 18W Apple USB-C charger that came with my iPad Pro. I didn't get a double beep when I connected my iPhone and used the app to confirm the current while charging, which gave me 600-800mA compared to the 1400mA I got with the USB-A Lightning cable received from Anker. / Charger.

Not compatible with Apple - you're lost.

I had 30 days to get this back but after updating to iOS13 I found my phone kept complaining that "this device may not be supported". After working with Apple Support, I found THIS CHARGING CABLE IS THE PROBLEM. Replacing the cable solved my charging problems. iOS stopped complaining and the phone was able to charge without any problems. I have since tried the same Revain cable again and the problem persists. It's not a cheap problem either. I hope this helps you all avoid scams.

Failed in less than 5 months

I know the description says Apple but now I have doubts. My phone wouldn't charge after being plugged in all night. When I unplugged the cable, I found that both sides of the lightning connector were blackened. After deleting the strongest sign, I took the attached photos. I figured the iPhone had failed somehow and made an appointment at a local Apple Store for repairs. Meanwhile, I placed the phone on my wife's wireless charging pad and it started charging immediately. So today after some use

Accurate and reliable

May I suggest not punishing yourself, Revain or Apple for the ignorance of others? I am very glad that I ignored the many misleading reviews and bought this product. The cable, its packaging and its performance are identical to the one I bought directly from the Apple Store. My iPhone X quickly charged from 0% to 49% in 30 minutes when plugged into an Anker 60W USB Type-C PD charger. Contrary to photos posted by another reviewer, this genuine product (like the one I bought directly from the…

This is an original Apple branded cable

. I was reluctant to get it but this item is supplied and sold by Revain. Having been a core member for over 15 years, I have decided to trust the 'brand'. It arrived the same day as I needed it quickly. The packaging itself looks exactly like you would get it at an Apple Store. I have no doubt that this is an "authentic" branded Apple cable. I tested with my existing power bank that supports "fast" charging for iPhone X models and above. The output voltage is 9V 2A compared to 5V 2A which is…

ATTENTION - Photo is wrong

I ordered this without reading the title carefully enough. The PHOTO shows a Lightning to USB cable and that's what I was looking at. However, the title says USB-C for Lightning, and that's what they sent me. I can't complain about the quality of the cable because in the end it's my fault. However, I am sorry that I did not understand that the photo does not match the item sent. Appears to be an original Apple cable. I think I'll use it to transfer photos from my iPhone to the Mac I have with a

  • . Not as thick as other options.

As of the first half of 2019, Apple has finally certified other companies to manufacture USB-C to Lightning cables. Competition produces quality and often the best prices. Apple's standard 1-meter USB-C to Lightning cable has dropped from $25 to $19, but it's still expensive. I own three. Even more worrisome is that many reviews note that Apple's outer cable jacket tends to wear out and break fairly quickly, a long-standing problem with many of its products.
