The concept is very good and works well; However, the plastic feels brittle and the metal guides shear off when drilling. Over time, the metal pilot hole will grow larger, affecting the accuracy of the dowel holes.

It's clear that this product is cheap, but the truth is, it just plain is cheap! The template is problematic to use, there is no other use for precision than by eye. The bits are junk that won't even start without a lot of pressure and of course gets hot. The bit stops let's say more time to try and tune then they loosen and wiggle slightly. I would not recommend this product for anything with my limited time and experience with it, just a waste of time and money.
