The ones I've had for decades have all been stiff but have longer finger grips. they are small. Since there is less paint in the container, it is not as easy to get to the applicator.

Small if you work on a couch big chair thought it would take me ages to compete with the job. I started using the pillow from the machine. The paint didn't apply well, I applied three coats of Paint.N.

I used it to polish my red leather. I did the first part without them and the second with them - much easier and helps to penetrate the cracks and folds of the skin. This will help ensure a consistent color. I used one applicator for the entire couch.

Expensive for small sponges but of course you should have them for use with leather paint and top coat, FYI they are reusable if washed immediately after use. I ordered 3 and ended up only using one. For me this should be included with the purchase of paint, cleaner and sealer.

I bought these to put cutting board oil on my bamboo cutting board. I do this weekly. After a few uses, the sponge came off the plastic handle and I had to reattach it. They work great but I wonder how well they will hold up. However, they are quite cheap, so I can always buy more.

The only thing that annoys me is that the sponges have come loose from the applicators after a short use. Easy to fix - I just glued them back on with better glue - but that's not the point. The thing is, why does the manufacturer save and use low-quality glue? Totally useless and pointless because nobody wins.

I was a bit nervous when I first noticed how small they are, but was very impressed when I used them. They were absolutely perfect! All I needed was a sponge and the seats and steering wheel were done. The size is great because I was able to get into books and cracks in the seat. I don't think I'll have to redeem for a while but I'm very happy with this purchase!
