This is a really good product. I bought this for my axolotl who loves to hang out with him. He's weird and doesn't like using his skins. But it is very beautiful and looks very natural. There are no sharp edges for fish to cut themselves.

The package came in a box and after opening there were no problems with the product. The measurements appear to be accurate for a large tree trunk and are perfect for fish and snails to hide and swim. check the dimensions before you buy.

Two months of very thorough fresh water maintenance and the paint is bursting and flaking from the inside. It comes off in the form of flakes that look attractive to the fish. This is dangerous as they will try to eat it. From the outside the paint looks much better, but something different was used on the inside. I don't recommend it for aquarium, may work better in dry environment.

Finally found a great product to match our African Clawed Frog Sanctuary! Great design and price. However, due to the lack of packaging, I have to request a replacement a second time, which could not prevent the product from being damaged twice. I believe it can prevent damage if this double bubble is wrapped with no space between the product and the box before it is placed in the box and wrapped in Amazon bubble wrap rather than just thin plastic wrap.
