Mesh is almost perfect. The only problem is that I want them to lace up. They have two small ties on one side so you can secure the top. Not very comfortable. But overall worth the price!

Usually similar to Hagen products but this requires some work. The drawstring closure works a lot better than trying to tie the top of the bag with an attached string. I would not buy this variety again.

I use these bags as overflow strainers in frypots so I cannot rate them for their intended purpose. What I use them for, they work great. The mesh is really good, much thinner than I need.

The bags hold many media and are very durable. It would be nice if they were real threads instead of wrapping them around to close the hole, but at this price you can't go wrong.

I made this for using Purigen, a renewable filter media. I got a bag made especially for him that cost over $8. I figured I could save some money and use this one. ok i have little white purigen balls floating all over the place and my dumb fish is trying to eat them. I would use this with carbon medium but nothing else. it is not very good and not durable. I'm not made because they don't say it was made for the pury.
