💧 AquaClear 20 Nylon Bag, 2-Pack, A1360: Efficient Filtration Solution for Cleaner Water! Review

Contains chemical filters as described. When I clean the canister filter I just remove the old stuff and replace it while keeping the nylon bag. Have reused one bag for a year so far.

Great size for nano aquariums! These bags are made of fine, soft mesh and can hold filter media such as Seachem Matrix or carbon very well. I have also successfully used them to store Purigen. Most pellets stay inside, only the smallest ones can go out. In my experience it is no different than a 100ml Sechem Purigen pack.

Love the celadon line. I use these media packs in all of my air conditioners. I use them as filter threads in my Mbuna aquariums. Together with biocarriers, of course. My complaint is that the size 20 is actually too big. The ones I use in my 50's are perfect. But 20 is too much. And they are definitely overrated lol. Overall I would say I love them for the aqua color size 50. Not great for my 20s

I bought these to hold peat and put it in a canister filter. They are great although I would definitely recommend adding a feature so the pockets can be closed and protected. They came with a string that needs to be tied around the end to seal it, which is the false seal. If you have a very small tote I would recommend looking at a different bag. They were great for peat!

This bag is ideal for a variety of filter media, but NOT PURIES. After reading the Q&A I thought this was the perfect solution to the overflow problem I was having with standard bag Purigen in my Fluval Edge (Aqua). Luckily I caught it before most of it was released, but I still had quite a bit of water in my tank. Some of them were eaten by fish (fingers crossed they survived).

The bags themselves are great but I wouldn't use them for anything smaller than biocarriers as the holes aren't very fine and won't trap smaller particles. I use it to hold Seachem Matrix and it works very well with the Aquaclear 20 filter it was designed for. I like 2 packs as I can now store reserve biocarriers in case I need to use new tanks quickly! I love these bags and their size makes them suitable for a variety of filter media in a variety of filter types (10 gallon and AquaClear 50). Gallon, they are also great for covering the inlet in fry tanks. My only complaint is that the small ones are so expensive compared to the large ones.
