Aquaclear Foam Inserts 6 Pack Model Review

For those who have a 70 gallon fluvial filter this is the right product at a good price. With proper care, a foam insert can be reused at least once before using another.

These foam pads are supposed to last two months, but I've found that even if I wash them during that time, that rarely happens. Eventually they clog with algae and the pump flow lifts them up. In this case, the water will be diverted and the tank will quickly become dirty.

These are a MUST HAVE to keep your aquarium on top. I have had an aquarium for over 2 years now and initially tried EVERYTHING. I started with 5 feeder fish to avoid having to buy the expensive ones first and I still have 2 of my first 5 feeder fish STILL alive. This product is AWESOME!

I purchased this product after watching a YouTube video by content creator "Aquarium Co-Op". These foam inserts are a great way to make your HOB filter more efficient if you have a Penguin 350. I removed the carbon/fine filter pads entirely and put 2 of them (4 total per filter) in their place.
