🔌 AquaClear Power Filter Intake Stem Review

Exactly what I needed for my 110. I wanted to pull it out for a new tank and the inlet tube and stem were nowhere to be found. I ordered this to avoid paying $80 for a new filter.

Perfect fit for my Fluval Filter, I have to admit they are still very difficult to clean. Sometimes I cook it, but does anyone have a suggestion to physically clean the middle part? Boiling, that's why I had to replace it in the first place!

The intake stem replaces the one I broke while servicing my Aquaclear 50. It works very well and the water flow is back to how it should be. I highly recommend this product to replace worn or cracked Aquaclear 50 inlet fittings.

Replacement parts are hard to find and fit my filter perfectly. Will buy again. My only criticism of the design is that it's almost impossible to clean well once algae start growing inside. But that's the manufacturer's fault. The replacement part is exactly as it should be and fits without any problems.

He's doing his job. The quality just isn't as good as the original. Although I threw away the old U-bar because it had a hole in it (to release pressure), I could tell there was a difference in quality. Upon closer inspection, the replacement part simply does not have clean edges and is poorly formed. However, my filter works with a spare part. Once you turn on the filter, you won't even think about it.
