no choice between up and down direction

This nozzle is very powerful, but it doesn't have a guide plate that pushes the water up or down, just straight ahead unless you tilt it with suction cups. And you really need some kind of plants or decoration to hide it. It's quite big. i will return it

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

The worst! for aquarium pumps and filters

These powerheads are the worst. I'm sorry but I have to be honest. Constantly clogged (daily), levers break off (even at the post office), very poor suction for UHF, and I don't even know if they're up to the task. Constant cleaning. I have 8 and have already ordered another brand.

Fantastic upgrade from the 50

Fantastic upgrade from the 50 - amazing performance. I hooked mine up to an AIR pump for extra ventilation. The old model still works after being plugged in and turned on for 22 years. I really hope that this one will bring me as many kilometers. I also use the quick filter. See fig. LOVE! A+++

Great power and versatility. Last forever!

I have been using Hagen Aquaclear heads and filters for over 25 years. I still have a Hagen 201 head and an Aquaclear head that have been working for over 10 years. These things were great! Now I haven't bought them in years so I hope they are still as good as they were.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

First review and not satisfied.

So, the first review and not enthusiastic.Ordered in August. Finally got around to cleaning the tank and installing a gravel filter. Ordered 2, one was right the other wrong, sent back, got a new one. The box was correct, just opened and in the box was an old used air pump with hose, no powerhead. Maybe the third time is nice, what a bunch of crap. Too bad I didn't open the box.

Aquakiller 70 on air pump accessory

I have ordered Aquaclear 70. I have a 180 gallon aquarium full of goldfish, char, tadpoles and measles. First, it doesn't come with a filter. All the cheaper brands come with some sort of filter and Aquaclear probably won't cost the manufacturer 3 cents and includes one. Without a sieve, many small and medium-sized fish and tadpoles will be sucked in and die. The separately available filter cartilage is also not suitable.

Good First of all, this product has the aforementioned water propulsion power! But I have a feeling they could also warn against using it in live sand saltwater tanks! I bought it and it squeezes an amazing amount of water! My problem is that it also moves so fast that it sucks up sand from the ground and rams it into a magnetic spinning wheel preventing it from working. It then continues to work without squeezing the water, which gets so hot I'm surprised it didn't catch fire. I couldn't touch

Punish me with being a glutton

My first purchase of the AquaClear 70 Powerhead was satisfactory. for some time. The flow was strong and the Venturi valve provided stable ventilation. This didn't last long, however, as the venturi valve quickly failed - bubbles stopped appearing. The device then started to freeze intermittently and I had to bring it back to life by shaking the device and finally tapping the device until it turned on. Why? Eventually it stopped completely. A further inspection revealed a malfunction of the…
