Yes, it comes with 2 full filters. I used one in a 10 gallon betta tank, the rear filter I had just created too much flow for the poor fish. As a result, there is not as much flow and after a few weeks the tank is as sparkling clean as with a strong flow through the rear filter. I actually have a 10 gallon one with shrimp, guppies and angelfish and a fifty five gallon one with angelfish, acera gourami, char and some zebrafish. This is still ongoing.
