Doesn't stick to glass Floats on the water surface are useless

Suction cups are useless I wouldn't buy this product if it wasn't so cheap I would return it and stick it Wall of the first aquarium, clean the glass, come back in an hour and it's floating! No matter how cheap it is, it won't work on anything larger than a 10 gallon tank, maybe two for a 20 gallon tank, but it's useless because they just float on the water surface, don't stick and it cannot be appended. or keep robbing them down I wouldn't buy again

Quiet, reliable, powerful, safe, the best you can imagine

I bought 2 of these and 2 new invertebrate tanks and I love them. I haven't had an aquarium for years and filter maintenance was my biggest concern until I found out about sponge filters. They are ideal for breeding aquariums and nanospecies. nice and light yet feels durable, not to mention they're easy to clean when you change the water, just pop them in old water and replace. It literally takes 15 seconds and the sponges showed no signs of rotting or breaking after 6 weeks of use. Shrimp andโ€ฆ

Great filters at a great price!

Yes, it comes with 2 full filters. I used one in a 10 gallon betta tank, the rear filter I had just created too much flow for the poor fish. As a result, there is not as much flow and after a few weeks the tank is as sparkling clean as with a strong flow through the rear filter. The second I installed in my 55 gallon tank as an extra filter to give the good bacteria more surface area to grow. There must be a good filter combination to keep my fish happy and healthy! Good quality and although Iโ€ฆ

They work well but my eyes hurt they are ugly

This was my first experience with sponge filters. I never knew they existed. I wish I had. man they work. I love sponge filters and will never go back. Yes they work but you need to do your research and choose the right size. I bought two of these for a 30 gallon tank so this worked for me. They worked BUT I saw a lot of complaints about how ugly they were and I didn't think they were when I bought them but people were right. They are difficult to hide and take up a lot of space. Sponge filter for shrimp aquarium

This is perhaps the best sponge filter for an aquarium with filter feeders. The spongy material is enough to house the beneficial bacteria. And the shrimp will actually herd the sponge in search of edible material after the filter has matured. I use this filter in my shrimp and mussel tank. I have found that shrimp get most of their nutrition from eating the surface of the sponge. The air filter does not post-filter the water. This is beneficial for those keeping filter feeders like mussels and

Do that! Every aquarist should have a few!

No complaints at all! I can't believe you get 2 full filters for what often costs 1 sponge pre-filter. They work great. I actually have a 10 gallon one with shrimp, guppies and angelfish and a fifty five gallon one with angelfish, acera gourami, char and some zebrafish. This is still ongoing. Air pumps are tailored for each tank - for example a small, cheap Wal-Mart pump on the 10th and a decent dual outlet on the 55th that uses only one outlet to operate the filter. Ultimately, for tanks overโ€ฆ
