Inexpensive filter for small aquariums.

I like this filter. I have three of these, one was purchased from my local pet store in January 2020, one was purchased last July and the one I bought from Revain was in my son's tank for about three or four months. I got them because I hated being included in my all in one tank. The water wasn't as clean as we would like. Since I've been using it, all my fish have been thriving. I opened all mine and placed the medium to ensure good bacterial growth. All in all they work great for the price…

Decent product for filter accessories

So I bought 2 of these on 2 different occasions. The first came out great and works well. The second came destroyed. I'm pretty sure it has to do with shipping, but be careful - it was sent in an envelope, not a box. My filter was hacked and all the stones were scattered around the packaging and the box with the filter was destroyed too. I was able to put it back together. But if more pressure had been put on this packaging, the plastic would have broken for sure. I use both of these filters on

Perfect for a betta bowl with little room for personalization

Love this filter. I have this in my 3 gallon betta bowl. When you're short on real estate, size matters. After reading that media can be changed, I bought this filter specifically for the extra compartment at the bottom. I have tannis in my bowl because of the driftwood and I wanted to add some medium to absorb it. It was easy for me to toggle my media checkbox. The pebbles are small enough to be taken out through the top where the air hose attaches and if your rack is small enough they can be…

Perfect for my 5 gallon aquarium

I have a 5.5 gallon aqueon aquarium with amano shrimp and tiger snails. The snail loves to sleep in the corners where the bubbles flow and the shrimp love to peel their lips. I have two in my tank because I needed a second for his compartment to help with an ammonia problem I was having, now that I have taken care of it the second filter will be used to fill future tanks. The compartment is probably my favorite part of this sponge filter. Not only does the sponge keep the good bacteria out, but

It's hard to stay put. Solved by adding a double suction cup.

What I like about this product is that it does exactly what it says on the tin. Easy to assemble and very easy to maintain. No noise, different air bubbles will flow, if you have a small fish tank 5 gallon or less, I strongly recommend buying it. I know that there are different sized aquariums. So if you have a large aquarium, there is more filtering. As for the money, it's already paid off. The only real maintenance you have to do is rinse it off and rinse the sponge until the water runs…
