This has to be the easiest way to change filters. After changing them I just threw them in the washing machine and they came out like new. The only thing I feel Aqueon should do is create 3 packs for those of us that have a large sump that takes 3 filters.

These filters work great but after ordering and receiving them I have found that you can buy more filters for around the same price so I only give this product 3 stars. One star due to price of this item, after purchase I ordered 4 packs for about $3 or $4 more of the same product.

great socks, goes well with my wet/dry condition. They need to be replaced with new ones regularly because you can't get them clean enough over time. Many cycles have been used so far. I just don't know how many cycles are in each. I have two additional kits besides the one that came with the filter

I have a ProFlex pan that uses these socks. I've been using them for many years now and they're really great socks. but I agree with the other reviewer. These socks clog easily, but other than that they work great. I don't usually reuse my socks, I change them once a month if I don't notice the sock getting too dirty. I often like the sock design itself, I put a carbon bag in the bottom. They're also great for your top hose as they filter out contaminants before they reach your display tank.
