I shouldn't have waited so long!

Super easy to snap off the old ones and snap in the new ones. I would recommend having a small standard screwdriver handy, it makes removing the old snap rings a lot easier.

  • Some customers have reported the gas struts not providing enough pressure to lift the camper shell

Product works great. Have only had a short time so cannot speak to longevity. Installation instructions were included and installation was a breeze.

This is the one! best in my review

after spending a week trying to determine the exact replacements for my ARE bed topper I finally ordered two of these strut pistons. It literally only took me five minutes to change them both and Wala I am back in business and I no longer have to rest that glass door on my head! Caution caution caution make sure you look closely at your old struts—When they snap onto the ball joints determined if there’s a slight angle or not and order the correct ones. I did not but they still work.

Super simple to install, and work wonderfully!

I was able to install these myself, with no mechanical knowledge, just watched a Youtube video, and these we are simple if not more simple to install. Now my back camper door opens with out falling on someones head. Thank you!Trini

Perfect replacement

When these arrived they were a different brand with a different number than I had ordered, I got ready to send them back but tried them just in case and they fit and work just like the originals so I kept them and they are working perfectly.

Easy installation - my new review

Propped up the door popped the old ones off (use small flathead screwdriver on clip and pry up enough to release) the new ones just push into place. Hold the door open nicely. A touch stiffer but I’m sure that’s the difference from old to new.

Perfect replacement shock.

Item was shipped quickly and was exactly as described. Only took about 2 minutes to remove the old shocks and install the new. Opens and closes very smoothly and supports the cap lid in the open position even when driving. Highly recommend

These are good so far. Only on the window for a month. But currently work perfect, pull the window up nice and efficient.Time will tell. But for now its a BUY.AloHa
