Got this mini sladge hammer just In time. I buy alot of tools from ebay because I'm always using them and always need something I don't have.Anyways I'm currently removing the transmission (30RH) from my Jeep Wrangler YJ. Before I do this I'm removing the transfer case which will make removing the transmission easier. This Hammer is the right size for automotive needs. It's not to heavy that you can't pick it up but it's heavy enough that it's useful when I hit something with it. I've used it to

Pros
  • I use this with my hatchet to split wood the lazy way. Quality product, heavy duty, durable.
Cons
  • Not very versatile, limited to engineering tasks only

Great balance, low fatigue when used.

This is a 4 lbs sledge but it doesn't feel that way. With the way the handle is balanced, if feels lighter, and I noticed less fatigue when used. Outside of that, it still hits hard liked I would need a tool like this, and I don't think the handle will be breaking anytime soon.

Pros
  • I think it’s the better option if you’re looking a hammer to work in cars
Cons
  • May not provide enough striking power for some jobs

Thor's hammer good for me

When you really need to give something a wack that'll make a dent, this is your hammer. Not the lightest, but all the better to have each swing of it have some really good momentum. Small enough to be able to maneuver in tighter spots. Handle has plenty of grip.

Pros
  • ‎New: 4 LB Engineering Hammer
Cons
  • May be too small for larger engineering tasks

Lasted great for a couple weeks at work. then fell apart

Check pics. Was hesitant to take it to work. Made it a week n a half then handle broke. guess you can still swing it. With this rate it'll be a paper weight soon

Pros
  • ‎China
Cons
  • Claw may not be sharp enough to dig into materials
