These refurbished devices failed due to this error:

This router worked perfectly until the warranty expired. My C4000 randomly restarted 2 months after the warranty expired. I contacted TP-Link support and followed all the troubleshooting advice they suggested and asked them to say they will replace the RMA router. Unit. In my time, I've had other companies like Corsair, ASUS, Linksys, and others replacing faulty out-of-warranty devices, so I figured TP-Link might be in the same class. IT'S NOT LIKE THIS. If you search the TP-Link forums for…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • I'm worried

G wireless route: network products

Covers my entire house including basement, two widescreen TVs, six computers, six IP cameras and two Roku devices. I'm very happy with the track.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works well to extend coverage, needs more guest network options

Compared to my scaling WiFi router, it has better coverage around the house, 5GHz band is good, but guest networks are just one option, it would be a good idea to have multiple AP names in the guest network, each with different passwords on both bands. Maybe it's a firmware update that I haven't done yet.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Annoys me

I bought a refurbished one and it died a few hours later.

. Worked great for a few hours then died. So. Someone bought it new, it went bad so they returned it. TP-Link updated it. I bought it. And he died, and now I'm bringing him back. I don't think I will buy any more TP-Link products.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • I bought a factory restored model for the old
