Okay, but I hate patented rebars.

Works great. But the fact that it uses a patented fitting is why it gets 4 stars and not 5 stars. My bleed valve uses a regular air fitting. The adapters have connectors in two sizes. The larger fitting is the same size as the regular air fitting. In the end I made an adapter with a regular hose. Then I push the hose onto the "proprietary" fitting.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • The list will go on.

I'm just not sure yet.

I'm not even sure I can use it. Ares uses a strange connector on the cap and I can't find an adapter that fits. How am I supposed to pressurize the master cylinder if I don't have a standard fitting to connect Ares caps to any cylinder pressure? If I can find out what fit Ares uses for the cap I'll take a look at this review.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great Master Cylinder and Manual Bleed for 2019 Honda Pilot Elite AWD

This master cylinder adapter worked like a champ on my 2019 Honda Pilot Elite AWD. No complaints here, this master cylinder cover was excellent. got it right This made bleeding the brakes a lot easier for me. Well, this article by Ares was the best. It made my job easier. It held a steady 25psi until I finished bleeding the brakes. Highly recommended.

Best to bleed the brakes yourself

Unfortunately I have taken the trouble to ensure that other brands of adapters are compatible with this unit's patented fit. So I ordered this set. It was good for 05 Mustang, 08 Honda Ridgeline, 03 Mini CooperS, 17 Ford Edge Sport and will most likely be compatible with all other cars in the future. All brakes appear to be factory new at the moment. Be sure to take the whole set with you, you won't regret it.

Well worth the money - don't hesitate - an easy no hassle brake flush.

This thing is amazing. I want it to be earlier. I used to use universal caps and they always leaked. He stayed at 15-19 psi. No problems with leaks like everyone else. The easiest and cleanest brake flush I've ever done. The only problem was that the first one I ordered had a broken body (where the nipple was screwed in). Didn't try to check if it's airtight - it looks like an accident because the replacement was fine. Totally worth the $50 - the 43mm fit my is300 and rx350.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

An absolute must for a home master

After using it I honestly would have paid more for it. It works as advertised and is probably the easiest way to bleed your brakes on your own. You need to flush the brake system a lot more often than most people and this allows you to do that. Suck the old fluid out of the old BMC reservoir, add new fluid, find the right cap for your setup, pressurize and crack the bleed screw and just watch the system bleed itself. To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't discover this sooner. Theโ€ฆ

Nice little device

I had to flush and bleed the brakes for about a year. It seemed pretty easy and I could have done the job myself. So these are the master cylinder caps you should be using, made by ARES. Other caps use others after they don't fit this model, learn this lesson the hard way. I ordered the right thing and waited. It arrived and I decided to give it a test run. So I put everything together and everything seems to be working great. Then I released the air pressure and thought great, when I come back

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • so far so good
