does the job: body repair tools

Excellent pliers. The edges of the teeth are sharp, allowing them to penetrate even the dirtiest staples. The only thing I don't like is that I don't like how they feel in my hand. I've had gear wrenches and even port cargo wrenches, they're more ergonomic.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Wow, one of those tools that you appreciate when you buy it!

As long as you have room to grab the plastic clip rivets, this tool is great. Did a little work getting the plastic clips out and was very pleased. Much better than trying to pry open the rivets with two screwdrivers. Very very happy with this purchase. The build quality of the instrument is excellent, it feels very solid.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Speed

Very good puller and puller

I bought these button pullers because I was tired of using small screwdrivers to remove the pins and damaging the pins. These pin removers do an excellent job of removing pins. I don't do car interiors regularly so I can't speak to long term use but I'm sure they will serve the purpose well. Thanks for a great tool. I have also bought other Ares instruments in the past and still use them.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Fits

I wish I had bought it years ago

no more trying to pry up those stupid clips with a screwdriver to end up rendering them useless. Now with this tool it's literally just a push and then a pull and they pop out in a second and are ready to be reused - every time. I wish I had bought them years ago and saved myself the heartache (get them and the corners at the same time so you can go anywhere you need to).

Pros
  • lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • minor issues

Ideal for clamps and electrical connectors!

I rented a gearbox with a friend and he had these pliers. We found them *amazing* for removing clips and depressing tabs on electrical connectors. The Ares tool is stronger than the competition and has the right head and serration angle to easily reach any connector or terminal. It also does an excellent job removing body panel fasteners. Much more versatile than you might think.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Compatibility

I've been ordering clip on clips for years and have always had to use a standard screwdriver to get them out. Often leads to broken clips. I took the chance to see if this tool would work for me. I am very happy to announce that this clip removing tool wins an award! I was able to remove ALL my clamps on my broken Honda. Thanks for a valuable tool. This is a tool that will stay in my toolbox!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Go to Pin Tool, Much Used Still Works Great

If you're a mechanic or work with a lot of cars, you know you're always going to come across tons of plastic pins, and they can be an annoying pick-me-up. if you don't have the right tool. I've broken countless pins with screwdrivers and all. I was looking for the perfect tool for her. They worked well with them as a professional mechanic. They are good quality but it's not the perfect tool for them but I haven't found anything better yet. My advice for use is to use one side of the pliers to…
