Great for dentistry

I bought these as my first loupe, I'm a dentist and use them to carve crowns and fillings and they work great. They are a little heavy in the front and take a long time to adjust for a beginner. But once set and locked into place, it works great. The light is also good, but the battery is only average. Overall I think it's really good for the price. Highly recommended

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons
  • embarrassing

Excellent loupes. Excellent value for money and quality!

I work in surgery and needed good reliable loupes for CVT rotation. However, I really didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. Recommended to me by a colleague and I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality given the reasonable price. They come in a small briefcase that looks professional. You need to adjust the lenses and there is a lens cleaning cloth. They also came with a light source but I don't need it but it might be important for some other professions. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

This amazing deal on the Magnifying Glass and Light Combo

. At around $50 this is a great Magnifying Glass and Light combo. This is in no way comparable to my Surgitel TTL loupe or Designs for Vision headlamp and I couldn't use them every day; It's a great backup pair, though, and better than nothing. Also of note is that the working distance is slightly shorter than the advertised 420mm (16.5 inches). I would say it could be 12 inches which is not conducive to good ergonomics.

Pros
  • . Manufactured by
Cons
  • . Slightly wrong

🦷🦷🦷 Get the real bargain.

I ordered these villains yesterday morning, they were already there in the evening. I am a hygienist and decided to look for cheap magnifiers on Amazon. Looks like I'll have to go in the middle of winter. 2 stars for the light 0.5 stars for the magnifying glass part, too heavy and uncomfortable, when zooming, the patient's mouth had to be stopped several times to adjust, also the cord does not hold (maybe I was wrong). The comment also said that you have to squint to focus through the lens…

Pros
  • Not cheap, but neat
Cons
  • Not satisfied with everything

These Galilean loupes make a good spare pair for dental work

These Galilean loupes make a good spare pair for dental work or a great pair for hobbies like woodwork and fly tying. The biggest downside is that the working distance is 420mm (16.5 inches), which is small for me. But honestly, it compares well to other major Galilean loupe brands that cost 10-20x more. (If you're really spending a lot of money on loupes, go for the Keplerian [i.e. prism/wide field of view]. Then you'll see a real leap in quality over optical quality.) Also, while loupes are…

Pros

Cons
  • Compatibility

Thing is really cheap. The socket you plug the battery charging cable into is broken, you have to plug it in at a weird angle that shouldn't be in order to charge it. In addition, there are two areas that they present for adjusting focus and pupil size, but there is also one area that they don't. This is the angle of each individual lens. I had one lens looking at a 90 degree angle to the other so you MUST adjust it. Even after looking through it, I found that the working depth of field is…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
