This instant read meat thermometer from Arima is far better than what we've been using for years. Excellent in every way.

I've used this for baking, grilling and roasting. It is very easy to use and clean. The magnetic feature allows me to keep it on the side of the fridge and never lose it. What I really like is that it's backlit with big numbers that I can read without glasses.

Used for the first time yesterday at a barbecue. This time none of my chickens were too dry as I could read the temp as they roasted. Someone advised me to buy Thermapen but they cost around $80. This thermometer was a lot cheaper and works great!

A wide range of thermometers means that most people only need this thermometer for cooking. The ability to read quickly means they are not exposed to hot ovens and boiling pots for long periods of time. The only drawback: I wish the thermometer was about 20% smaller.
