Tools and Home Improvement always need a reliable solution when it comes to electrical work and this fitting provided just that. We have been looking for a floor socket for a long time but they all seemed quite thick over the finished floor or had a real commercial look. This is the thinnest I've seen and all the exposed parts of the brass model are molded from brass which should hold up. The biggest challenge is cutting a 5 inch hole. 5 inch hole saws are expensive but do a really good job if you have a decently powerful drill bit for the job.
