I use this product after emptying my tray. Pour it onto the bottom of the box and mix it with the rest of the putty in the box. We have two cats and two boxes. The product is a perfume-like fragrance that will fragrance your home. After my cat started pooping, I put something in his litter. The smell can be too strong, so when new putty is put on it, it will be tamped down. All cats are different and the smell of their urine and feces can be very strong and nothing works universally. I have two kittens and two litter boxes and usually the litter can't handle the smell even after a day or two and I can't always go to the drawer to clean it every day to clean poop. This A&H product does an excellent job of removing odors when used as directed for 7 days. After a week, you still need to clean the litter box. The price is much lower than what I can buy in the store and I save on gas since I don't have to drive there. I have this item on autoship so I don't run out.

I like this product, it eliminates odors. I'm currently living in a rather small, completely unfurnished 1-room apartment. I also like the smell, it's just that it can be very strong, I definitely can't use it on the day I have a migraine because it can be so strong. If you are sensitive to smells then I would definitely say this product is not for you. If you like different scents and have no problem with them, get this product because it works very well.

One of my cats is very smelly and ruins the tray every time he uses it.
