Description of Armored Liquid Thermometer Immersion B60740 0200

DURAC Plus armored liquid-in-glass thermometer is a partial immersion thermometer with organic liquid filled against white back glass. Range: -20 to 150°C; divisions: 1°; accuracy: 1°C; length: 305mm (12in). Features an open protective nickel plated brass armor which protects the thermometer from accidental breakage during use and storage. Lower section surrounding the bulb features small openings for circulation; fitted with screw cap and ring top. Individually serialized; tested and calibrated in H-B's exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/ IEC 17025:2005, A2LA accredited laboratory against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST. Note: H-B Instrument Thermometers are NOT for human use.

Absolutely useless. Received a replacement today

Received one last week and it was 15 degrees below normal. Absolutely useless. Got a replacement today. The glass is cracked below. I can't believe Revain will ship this item. As he looked at it, it was obvious that it was broken. Doesn't the shards of glass falling out of the case suggest that there might be a problem with this device? I will not buy again. Too bad you can't rate it with -10 stars.

Not accurate or repeatable.

Despite the bad reviews, I tried to order this product. The product was well received and made a fairly robust and heavy impression. I immediately unpacked it and put it in an ice water bath, he checked and found that the temperature had stabilized at 38 degrees. Ok I could handle that now since I need the offset.
