Excellent quality and value. I should have bought this many years ago!

Great little regulator. After years of fiddling with the horribly leaky Craftsman regulator that came with the compressor, I finally bought this little gem. I wish I had done this many years ago. The display is a little small, but that's not a big deal as with normal use it only sets up once for a given job and disappears. Not that I had to read it across the room. I did a lot of reading and comparing to others available online and finally convinced myself that the lowest price wasn't the most…

Small but accurate for air compressor accessories

I had to try to keep the cost of the air regulator down but also wanted it to match the brand of other filters I've bought. Other reviewers were very specific about the fact that this regular watch is very small and some find it difficult to make out the numbers on the dial. I drew some white lines on the outside where the 80 and 100 psi marks are to make them easier to orient from a distance. Is it worth the money, yes, as other larger regulators cost almost twice as much. If I were to spend…

Without instructions and a terrible tiny caliber

Works better on my compressor than the original. However, there were no instructions in the kit, it took me a bit of internet digging to understand that the handle is removable, as is the lens/bezel. The main disadvantage of this regulator is the SMALL numbering on the pressure gauge. Do not rely on the use of the sensor, it cannot be read at a glance. Plan to install another built-in pressure gauge after this regulator. To remove the handle, first remove the nut, then use a wrench to grab the…

Product failure (leakage) in less than a year of operation

UPDATE (Rating changed to 2 stars based on durability): Less than a year after installing this regulator it is leaking internally. Eventually, this leak will cause the tank pressure to drop to about 40psi overnight (while the system is off). Once the reservoir pressure drops to about 40psi, the regulator will stop leaking. My initial 5 star rating is below: My moderate 30 gallon CFM compressor has always worked so well. When I first got my compressor a few years ago I used it for nailers and…

Top notch design and construction

Possibly the best regulator I have ever seen. If I have one complaint, it's that the sensor feels small. However, this is not surprising. It is built into the controller and the whole unit is quite small. However, this is a small complaint. Everything is well labeled and legible and I am most impressed with everything else about it. I use a 30 gallon oil lubricated auto compressor for airbrushing. That's probably too much, but for 5 minutes of noise I get 2-3 hours of quiet work. Unfortunately,
