Description of ARP 1236002 Rod Bolt Kit

Connecting rod bolts are the most important fasteners in your engine, the key to the entire rotating assembly; replacing inferior OEM fasteners can help you avoid catastrophic engine failure. Exclusive Wave-Loc design is far superior to standard knurls. Manufactured from ARP2000 hybrid-alloy, which has approximately 200% the fatigue life of 8740 chrome moly steel. Rated in the 220,000 psi range, which is considerably stronger than OEM or even Grade 8 hardware. Complete set includes the bolts you need to upgrade all of the connecting rods in your engine.

"Game-Changing Engine Upgrade!

After I put it to the test, the difference in my car's performance was unmistakable .The improved power delivery and smoother operation made driving even more enjoyable. The installation of this product was relatively simple and straightforward. The only downside I COULD think of is that it may not be suitable for beginners in engine assembly. Overall, this product is a must-have for serious car enthusiasts!

Fits 3800 Series 2, but cranks require machining

Exactly what I needed for my supercharged 3.8 liter 3800 Series 2 engine from a 2000 GTP Grand Prix. Just upside down. Standard bars need editing to work. I already knew that, and my engine was in the shop, so it's no big deal.
