Worked great on my '99 Silverado with LR4 (4.8L v8) for heads. Cleaned the exhaust manifold bolt holes and small head bolt holes. I love ARP stuff.

Complete garbage! Stalled in engine at 3rd rev. You could easily see that the metal wasn't heat treated properly as all the inner metal was crystallized. Crap product that will cost me a repair!

Buy. I'm restoring a 5.3 liter Chevy and this pulled the dirt out of the bolt holes. Minor head bolts, exhaust bolts and rocker arm bolt holes. It seems expensive but cheaper than removing a broken screw. I bought m11x2. 0 for large screw holes. Same, pulled the shit out. Buy it too.

This is great and there is definitely a difference between Taps and Embossers. However, I think ARP is far from what they charge for these little gems. But maybe they're made of an exotic high-strength material, or the manufacturing process is intense. Who knows, the only thing that bothered me was the price. ARP quality can't be beat! And Revain had the best price.
