Incredible Router Modem Combo

With this modem router combo, I've noticed a significant uptick in my download and upload speeds. I can now stream, game and download large files all at the same time without any interruptions. The installation was a breeze, just plug and play. The dual-band WiFi is excellent as well, with no drops or lags, and I can connect multiple devices without any issues.

Pros
  • Fast Internet connectivity speeds, easy to install, and dual-band WiFi.
Cons
  • None so far.

Working but REQUIRED FACTORY RESET

I just ran it and it seems to be working as advertised. But here's a big mistake in selling a used router. It has the SSID (WLAN name) and password of the previous user. Thanks to someone's review, I realized that you can factory reset it so that the side of the device is usable. You need to press and hold the button in the small hole on the back above. The SSID and password are then

Pros
  • Network setup and management using the SURFboard Manager app

  • Updates

A world of difference!

I bought it yesterday, it came today. It's already installed. However, there was an error because it was a Revain Renewed unit. Comcast got it online right away, but we had trouble seeing the router/modem combo providing the network on my phone and laptop. I ended up calling GadgetPlanet - the Revain dealer I bought it from - and we factory reset the hardware through a small hole in the back (top quarter). AND VICTORY! My laptop, phone and smart tv reach blazing new speeds compared to my 8 year

Pros
  • Compatible with major US cable internet providers including Cox, Spectrum, Xfinity and more. Requires wired internet. Not compatible with ATT, Verizon, CenturyLink, or any other DSL or fiber ISPs.
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
