I bought this paper specifically for decoupage so I can print the images I want to use. That works great! I attach it to a piece of regular carbon paper (the textured side of the rice paper on the carbon paper) with some glue around the edges, cut the rice paper to size, and then place it in the inkjet tray. This rice paper works great on my Bother laser printer. Although it says rice paper, they are not edible. I tried to eat a small piece and it was like chewing regular lined paper in college. Edible rice paper melts in your mouth. I didn't buy them to eat so no problem. They are quite thick, like ordinary paper. I have not used them with an inkjet printer. Agree with the review this paper is great for marbling paper and holds up surprisingly well wet. I like the porous nature of the paper, which takes paint and ink very well even without an alum preparation. What can be good or bad is that it takes paint and ink so well that using both sides for separate images would be impossible as the pigments are fully absorbed into the paper.
