Artists Loft Fundamentals Sketchbook 5 5 Review

As a result of using this sketchbook, I found that it produced excellent quality art with its 100-page acid-free paper. The cover was also sturdy and protected my work. However, the pages tended to smudge if not allowed to dry completely before closing the book. Overall, I highly recommend this sketchbook for all types of artists.

This notebook is amazing. I dropped it in the lake and it was completely submerged in water for maybe 3 minutes and all it needed was some tape and none of my drawings got smudged. The best product I have ever had from an art company👍👍👍

It's well bound and better than printer paper, but it doesn't erase very well and smudges more easily than some of my previous sketchbooks (which were cheap unbranded books). The soiling of the paper makes me fear that I'll ruin old sketches when flipping through the book simply because the pages are rubbing against the pages in front. I use a regular HB lead, I wouldn't use anything softer with this book. I would recommend trying another product, Canson seems to make really good sketchbooks.
