Great product - Hydration

They're like carbon fiber. I just didn't want to spend money on charcoal. Holds up just like carbon even though they are composite. Would you like more color variety. No bottle start, just insert and remove bottle.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Nothing here

This plastic is good for hydration

My own fault, didn't read the description fully. This cage is plastic but looks the same as the one sold in carbon fiber. The plastic works but isn't as rigid so getting the bottles in and out is a little awkward. (Is that even a word?)

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Reliability

Arundel Sport Bottle Cage

I have tried many bottle cages over the past 20 years and the Arundel cage has had the smoothest action as well as good bottle retention. Great design and functionality. I was surprised to find that this cage was about half the weight of the aluminum cage I had on the bike. The only real issue right now is that I know I'll need some carbon fiber models at some point.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I am writing back

Maybe too tight?

Looks great for the aesthetic of my new bike. I wanted stainless steel, but the color didn't match my bike and its components, so I opted for my first plastic bottle cages. They really hold my bottles (Podium Big Chills) in place and I really have to work a bit to get them in and out while riding. I'm sure I won't lose a bottle, but in 15 years of riding I've never had one, so I'm not sure that plastic bottle cages "stretch" and weaken over time.

does the job well for water bottle cage

I have an Arundel Dave-O carbon cage on my steel Colnago (second bike). This is the plastic/nylon version of this cage. For a fraction of the cost, it does the job just as well. It protects your water bottle and pulls out easily when you want a drink. They come in a variety of colors to match your bike (if that matters). I've had a few carbon frames and after a while they started to "marble" (discolor). Side by side, it's hard to tell the difference between a sporty plaid and a matte blackโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say

Very good bottle cage for anything but racing

Fairly light (but heavier than the carbon fiber cage it replaced) but looks very solid. Holds my insulated Polar bottles very securely, even on bumps. I expect to have them for a long time as they should hold their shape (unlike aluminum cages), shouldn't crack (the material is resilient plastic) and aren't very heavy. May 2019 update. These cells are still going strong. So they are not very pretty, but they cannot be surpassed in terms of functionality. Easily insert and remove water bottlesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Large bottle cage

Revain disapproved my first review so here's a second try. That alone is enough to tell you how good this product is, but let's get started: there were heavy rains in the days leading up to these cells' arrival. I ride almost exclusively on limestone and dirt tracks and roads. The result was huge blurs, significant bumps, and long periods that felt like riding a washboard. I've used Camelbak Podium Chill and Dirt Series water bottles and the Arundel cages have held them up great despite theโ€ฆ

Pros
