The filters in this model are quite substantial, especially the activated carbon (2 pounds). I ordered another brand, 2 times more expensive, also with great reviews, but the filters were much smaller, so I returned them and bought the 2nd Asept instead. I've been using it for a month and I'm very satisfied. It's basic, with no fancy features, but it does its job well. Also looked a lot better than the photos.

To be honest I wanted to take every precaution during the pandemic to protect my family. I use this air purifier when we have 1 to 3 guests along with other precautions. I run it at night to reduce airborne particles like pollen, dust and bacteria. Surprisingly it takes up a lot of space and is great for my husband's allergy sufferers. I have looked at and researched various air purifiers and I love this one.

It works so well. We got this about 6 or more months ago. I'm very glad we got this. worth your money. He's in our room. And with air conditioning and stuff, it's so nice and cold in there. Depending on how dusty your house or room is, you may need to clean more frequently. It just means it works. You don't breathe dust. We can't find our brush either. So don't waste it. I purchased this LifeCell 2550 air purifier after having previously had positive experiences with another model. This particular model, the 2550, strikes me as less than satisfactory. This is a good air purifier, the filters are of high quality, the hepa filter has many folds and is very tight, nothing gets through they go through. It also has carbon and other high quality filters. Carbon and HEPA filters are 1/2" to 3/4" thick. The fan is quiet enough for a bedroom but high enough for a large living room. I have had many air purifiers in the past and I have to say that the Asept-Air brand is the best on the market. These units look great, are well built, and have more air cleaning power than other units that cost a lot more.
