Check out this crappy design.

Rounds with high quality plastic Peygram clips. Could be easily detached with an extra flange to support fingers gripping the back of the plastic clip. The nut holding the hinge loosens with each use and needs constant tightening. Chinese garbage.

Excellent quality! A tool is not always required.

Looks well made and easy to use. I found that I found it easier to use my fingers when making 100 square foot tiles. The tool is simply not needed. One more thing to move and get in the way. Nothing against the tool, the quality is good. If you feel you need it, this is a great buy!

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Not bad

Set this setting to the smallest setting, it's still .

Set this setting to the smallest setting, but it will still be difficult to push the wedges far enough onto the 3/8 inch ceramic tile. The contact points can be a bit larger, sometimes causing the page to crook or slip if you're not intentional enough. Easier than inserting wedges by hand.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • thin

You get what you pay for

Looks cheap and flimsy and I have to tighten the nut holding it all together all the time. However, I didn't spend a fortune, so I didn't expect perfection. Works well and did the job in 2 full bathrooms (floor, shower walls). Would buy again before I spend a million dollars on a better one as I'm not a professional installer.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Speed

A cheap, useful tool for power tools and hand tools

There is nothing to say about this tool that others will not say. Holds up well with the Lev-Tec leveling system when updating all kitchen tiles. At least 600+ wedges came together with this thing. One thing to watch out for, as others have pointed out, is that from time to time the nut will loosen and you will have to retighten it. Aggravating? Yes. deal breaker? nope Cheap tool but works as it should. It would be terrible to use your hands for that.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Upgradeable

The best options are out there.

I wrote a similar review on the corresponding clamps/wedges. I can't tell if the clamps were too weak or if the pliers didn't work. About 25% of the time I closed the clamp it broke. Can't tell for sure if it was pliers or wedges but either way I would choose a different product/brand next time. Not worth the risk and headache.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Works great with power tools and hand tools

They work great with Top Home Dec's DIY Tile Leveling System Spacers and wedges for leveling tiles. I only gave 4 stars because it came with a bent adjustment screw. I was still able to get them to work and they definitely made installing the wedge that much quicker and easier. Yes, you can use wedges and clamps by hand, but even for small jobs, pliers are worth the labor saved.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled

Works but is cheap - Power & Hand Tools

Something like "get what you pay for", it works, but sometimes it didn't work, or it slipped and left my hand on the plug meeting. The grip is not very soft and does not distribute the pressure over the hand. After going half a floor, my hand got killed by this thing. And the joints from slipping, and the palm from squeezing. It's probably best to wear gloves when using it.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
